First principles knowledge

We know guidelines and standards.

Our experience spans across the mining sector and public road governance.

Having sat on national standards committees and national and international working groups, our team has a sound understanding of best practices. We also understand the principles behind these documents and have applied these within the mining industry to:

  • Develop Road Design Guides

  • Undertake Road Safety Audits and Develop Traffic Management Plans

  • Undertake Safe System Geometric, Intersection and Car Park Road Concept Designs.

  • Develop Road Safety Strategies and Frameworks that manage HV & LV interactions and separate pedestrians and vehicle movements.

We can't share our works with mining clients, however, we can share our published reports from the public road sector. These have signifigant overlap with managing road safety risk on mine sites and public access roads.

"Glow in the dark" Line Marking

Self-luminescent line marking, generally referred to as "Glow in the dark" line marking has the potential to provide exceptional safety benefits on unlit roads. â€‹

There are some challenges that need to be evaluated to understand the product performance, value for money and where and when 'Glow in the dark' line marking could be a suitable tool for reducing crash risk.

Listen to the conversation about line marking between our Principal consultant and Narelle Graham from ABC Radio.

The following are clients our Managing Director worked with on road safety, road design, traffic management projects and technical guideline development over the past 15 years.
